MD West ONE Fountain Ridge MOB Clinic

MD West One sought to streamline services that were previously spread across multiple locations, creating inefficiencies for both patients and staff. The goal was to create a centralized clinic that could improve care coordination, reduce operational costs, and expand capacity, while remaining easily accessible to the growing west Omaha community.

Design Solution

The Fountain Ridge MOB was designed as a comprehensive orthopedic and spine care destination. The layout supports high patient volumes while maintaining clarity and comfort throughout the facility. More than 40 exam rooms are complemented by dedicated imaging, X-ray, casting, and procedure spaces, along with an Ortho and Spine Urgent Care clinic. The design prioritizes intuitive circulation, clear wayfinding, and proximity between related services to enhance both patient experience and clinical efficiency.

Architecture and Materials

The exterior combines curtain wall systems, brickwork, metal panels, and glass storefronts to establish a contemporary presence along 192nd Street and West Dodge Road. Inside, warm and durable finishes create a welcoming healthcare environment. Laminate millwork, solid-surface countertops, and a mix of tile, carpet, and laminate flooring balance aesthetics with long-term performance.

Impact

By consolidating services into a single location, the Fountain Ridge clinic significantly improves the patient experience while strengthening MD West One’s operational model. The facility supports coordinated care delivery, accommodates future growth, and reinforces MD West One’s commitment to providing accessible, high-quality orthopedic and spine care for the Omaha region.
