Goals for this project were centered around developing a central office building that would offer a flexible environment to provide unique working and client interaction spaces to better serve their customers. It needed to be adaptable for company growth, representative of the culture this growing company is trying to create, and technology driven to allow company-wide collaboration on-site and between sites. Located near a high traffic location in Waverly, Iowa, this building is instantly recognizable with branding both outside and inside. The new office consists of a multilevel design with a collaborative jewel box lobby space. The inviting front entry beneath the collaborative work ‘nest’ above brings you into the company commons and café and provides easy access to all departments in this first level. The open stairway takes you to the second level, complete with flexible furniture and collaborative space, technology driven conference rooms and a social café. The outdoor terrace brings the work area outside while offering amazing views to the city. This modern, highly flexible office now allows The Accel Group to accommodate clients and co-workers to achieve their mission.
