Gathering and evaluating data is an interactive approach that requires many different backgrounds and processes. It includes meeting with the client’s team in open forum discussions. Experienced professionals examine facilities for a variety of items including accessibility, code compliance, and life safety. Beyond that, the spaces are analysed for items such as daylighting, technology and flexibility of the space. Most importantly, the spaces are studied for ever-evolving utilization needs of the Client. The Future.

2 ENGAGE

Engaging stakeholders from the beginning truly sets the foundation for a successful project. Dreaming of the possibilities of what the future could hold for your project is an integral part of the master planning process. Making those dreams become a reality is where we come in. Investing your team’s time and ideas early in the process provides valuable insight for a holistic approach to project planning.

3 EVOLVE

The evolution of a project is best accomplished through collaboration. Programming the space for efficient flow and space usage takes shape here, and comes to life. The Emergent Team works hand in hand with the users to collaboratively design spaces that fit the needs and function of today and tomorrow. Energy efficiency, building systems, technology, and user experience are all extremely important aspects that also need to evolve. By combining all areas of a project during this phase, the end result starts to become visible. The building EMERGES.

4 EMERGE

Emergence: The delivery of the collaborative ideas into a built environment. The product is viewed differently by many. To the Emergent Design Team, the product is a complete and precise set of construction drawings highly detailing the building in all areas to reflect the results of collaboration. To others, it’s the start of the construction, the ground breaking of the dream. The Emergent Design Team is with you every step of the way. Through shop drawing review, contractor questions, and on-site inspections, the Design Team never stops collaborating. The success of this phase is what others finally see, the standing building that reflects all the hard work by many.
